WHO WE ARE
The people behind Veseer are designer and artist duo, Arthur and Twiggy.
Arthur is a 2nd generation Asian-American from New York. After graduating college studying industrial design, he found his way to the Bay Area in California. Having lived on both coasts, and some time in Germany, Arthur continues to expand his process for design through the exploration of new technologies and techniques.
Twiggy was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to California to continue her design education in 2013. Since then, Twiggy gradually developed her passion for traditional crafts, as well as applying new technologies that add layers of interest to the projects she makes.
With backgrounds in design, craft, and cultural influences as immigrants, Arthur and Twiggy found their voices together that is Veseer.
WHAT INSPIRES VESEER
We often draw inspiration and ideas from our understanding of nature and ancient architecture.
The balance they offer in terms of color, textures, and form, inspires us to communicate a similar language in our aesthetics. The universal intentions they manifest when we wander through their timeless spaces strike us with awe.
As we live through our own passage of time, Veseer hopes to keep crafting pieces that bring the connections of nature and cultural knowledge into your surroundings.
